Digicel customers win prizes at Punkie’s

The usually festive atmosphere at Punkie’s, Arnos Vale, was further enhanced on Friday, July 25, when Digicel’s exciting “Catch the cash and prizes” 2014 Carnival promotion came to end in fine style.{{more}}

The venue, known for its roast pork, saw seven lucky Digicel customers winning hundreds of dollars in cash, credit and other prizes.

Entering the cash vault on July 25 were Soca sensation Ryan “Royal” Abraham, Ivan Samuel, Jamelia George and Marlon Tucker.

Keisha Ellis, Juverni Compton and Denniston Williams were also given an opportunity to enter the vault for the simple fact that they activated new Digicel accounts.

The seven grabbed money and free credit, among other things, before a huge crowd at Punkie’s, Arnos Vale and all went home smiling.

Digicel’s “Catch the cash and prizes” 2014 Carnival promotion ran for five weeks and allowed prepaid customers to qualify for a chance to grab cash when they topped up $10 or more or activated a 4G data plan (seven days and more) while post-paid customers who paid their bill in full were entered in a random draw.

The random draw saw weekly winners being selected and contacted via HOT 97.1 FM every Friday at 1:30 p.m.

Winners were then given a time and location where they got the opportunity to enter Digicel’s cash vault, grab what they could and walk away with cash and prizes.

Over the five-week period, winners emerged in the form of, among others, Calvert Tash, Michael Jackson, Akisha Henson, Levan Baker, Oscar Hackshaw, Gacia Ledger, Mary Carrington, Clecia Bluther, Cordel Jack and Nicholas Dallaway.
