Passengers enjoy H2O, Soca on the Beach, compliments LIME

Passengers who travel on LIME branded minibuses look forward to Fridays more than any other commuters.{{more}}

The word has now spread that any time LIME Soca Dans, LIME ambassadors or other senior LIME officials are seen at the side of the road in and around Kingstown on a Friday afternoon, great things are in store.

That was the scene last week Friday when LIME senior Marketing and Corporate Communications executive Nikala Williams was seen in the area known as “Hospital Corner.”

Passenger van H403, which plies its trade along the Green Hill route, immediately started pulling to the side of the road when prompted by Williams, who was in a giving mood that day.

The driver of the van, along with the conductor and passengers were surprised with tickets to the LIME sponsored H2O Soca, which was held at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex last Saturday.

The ticket winners were part of the more than 3,000 strong crowd which partied “Til morning” at the wet fete with the LIME Soca Dans, Skinny Fabulous, and featured artistes Machel Montano and his band, and Patrice Roberts.

The excitement didn’t stop there, as passengers on the Windward side were also on the receiving end of free tickets.

This time, passengers, the driver and conductor of the Calliaqua-bound minivan H9074 were presented with tickets to Soca on the Beach, another LIME sponsored event that took place at the Rawacou recreation site on Sunday.

LIME Soca Dans and ambassadors, Fya Empress and others and patrons to the show were treated to the performing skills of Denise Belfon, Fayann Lyons and Bunji Garlin, who all performed non-stop despite a downpour of rain.

Williams said that the giveaways will continue over the next few weeks, and passengers are urged to continue supporting LIME branded vans, because there are many more prizes to be won, and the surest way to be a winner of the prizes is to be seated in a LIME branded van, while keeping a lookout for a LIME ambassador on the road.
