In keeping with a longstanding tradition, furniture and appliance store Courts St Vincent Limited, this week presented Miss SVG 2014 with a gift for winning the pageant.{{more}}
On Wednesday, Courts commercial manager Lisa Veira joined other staff members to present Shadeisha George with a TCL 28 inch flat screen LED television set.
George, who represented LIME in the pageant, won the title on May 31.
Veira, on presenting the gift, said that Courts was proud to present the television set to George, and congratulated the young beauty queen for her accomplishment.
Veira, further wished George the best as she competes in the Miss Carival Pageant, which takes place this evening.
George thanked Veira and Courts for the gesture, promising that the television would definitely come into good use. She also promised that she would give her best at tonightâs pageant, which features nine other contestants from around the region.
Before and after the presentation, George was introduced to the hardworking Courts staff, and spent time meeting and greeting customers in the store, and granting photos to Courts patrons and her fans.
Courts has in the past presented desktop computers, laptop computers, stereos and television sets to Miss SVG winners.(JJ)
