Club Gamerz SVG to host Playstation ‘Gamerz World Cup’

World Cup football fans who are also Playstation video game lovers will be able to play in a league of their own next month.

Club Gamerz SVG will this year host ‘Gamerz La Liga,’ the club’s own version of the World Cup competition, slated for June 14 to July 13 this year.{{more}}

Here at home, the Gamerz La Liga tournament takes place from July 5 to the end of August, and will be played on PS3 consoles, with 32 gamerz selecting the team they will represent throughout the tournament.

The tournament will be played in four rounds, followed by a knockout round, then semi-finals, then finals.

Cash prizes and electronic items are up for grabs to the winners and runners-up in the competition.
