LIME launches Carnival Sweepstakes

After a two-year absence from the carnival calendar, telecommunications provider LIME has announced that the LIME Carnival Sweepstakes is back in full force.{{more}}

Starting today, LIME customers will begin winning prizes by topping up their phones, paying their bills in full, or by simply sending a text.

Maria De Grads, LIME products co-ordinator, said at a press conference yesterday that LIME has decided to make the campaign bigger this year, to make up for the time it has been off the scene.

“Customers get a chance to win instant prizes, if you send a text message, an sms “CARNIVAL” to VMAS (8627), you get to win instant prizes… you will get a text message bounce-back indicating what you have won and you will go to your nearest location to redeem your prizes.

“We have prizes ranging from cash, to passes to all carnival shows that are CDC shows, as well as shows that are sponsored by LIME.

“We have Monday band packs, H2O tickets, we have Uncle Skinny Kids Fair passes, e-top up credit, ranging from five up to 20 dollars, and we have instant cash. We will have redemption centres set up at each of our outlets, which is our main office in Kingstown, our offices in Bequia, Union and Canouan, where you can go and redeem your prizes.

“We also have instant credit, vouchers for grocery, weekend getaways, so you can have lots of prizes in our carnival sweepstakes.”

DeGrads also indicated that customers paying their bills in full will win prizes in the interactive “bean bag toss.”

“…So you come in, you zero your balance, you get a chance to participate in this game and you will get discount towards your bill ranging from five to 30 per cent up. So, all of the holes that are going to be there will have a prize on them so you will actually get something when you participate.”

Also part of the sweepstakes, is an under the cap promotion, done jointly with the St Vincent brewery, where customers can win cash, credit and 4G ready smart phones.

Senior marketing and corporate communication executive Nikala Williams said that persons could be excited with LIME’s carnival sweepstakes, which will see multiple winners on a daily basis.

She also encouraged customers to take advantage of the ongoing promotions where 4G compatible handsets can be gotten for free by just topping up.
