Robinson is one of only two members of the current executive, who will stand uncontested in the election, which will see 18 candidates offering themselves to the teachers who will vote for a new team, expected to run the affairs of the organization over the next two years.

The other unopposed candidate is general secretary Margaret Lewis-Jackson.

Positions being contested are for public relations officer, first vice president, second vice president, assistant general secretary, treasurer, and committee members.

The new executive is expected to be announced on Friday.
