Digicel giving away $500 in cash every Friday

The latest money giveaway by Digicel will see Sassy and Gruv asking questions live on air that relate to Digicel. The first person who calls in live and answers the question correctly will win EC$500 cash.

Marketing executive at Digicel Justin John said that this latest promotion allows customers to call the radio station during these two programmes and win cash.

“It’s that’s simple… just call answer a very easy question correctly and you will be rewarded with cash from Digicel. We are always happy when we can give back substantially to the people in our community,” said John

Desmond Seales of Sion Hill is one of the lucky winners. He won last Friday afternoon January 31 after answering the question, “When you top up online EC$50 or more how much money can you win?”

Collecting his money last Tuesday, February 4, Seales said that when he heard about the promotion he made up his mind to try his best to win the money.

“I was telling my co-workers when I heard the question that I knew the answer but I missed the first question in the morning so I tried and won in the evening,” said Seales, who works at Karib Cable. “I feel good because this is the first time winning anything in my life and I have plenty plans for the money,” said Seales, who added that he was on a boat coming from Bequia when he heard and answered the question.

“When I realized I had won I was so excited that I ran and hit into something,” he said, laughing.

Meanwhile, marketing executive John said that the promotion currently has no end date as Digicel seeks to give back to customers in these hard economic times.
