Buccament Bay Resort wooing locals

In a move to build interest among home-based Vincentians, who continue to shy away, the Buccament Bay Resort Spa is offering their quality spa packages at discounted prices.{{more}}

In an interview with SEARCHLIGHT, manager of the spa, Dr Ashraf Ali stated that he is hoping to build a relationship with the locals, by providing discounts on the services that are offered.

“Locals here hardly come. I want to reach each and everyone so they can enjoy five star service,” the spa manager said.

Ali said that as a way of pushing this initiative, the Buccament Bay Resort Spa has decided to have a promotion for the month of February, where people will receive a 20 per cent discount on four particular packages.

“We’re giving a spa promotion for Valentine’s Day so friends and family, boyfriend and girlfriend…can come and enjoy,” he said.

In the “Ultimate Champagne and Petal Package” local guests will enjoy a floral foot ritual, salt and oil scrub, Swedish massage, a luxury manicure and pedicure as well as a glass of champagne. The “Decadence Package” includes a head to toe chocolate immersion, luxury pedicure and a glass of wine while the “Love Birds Luxury Indulgence” includes a foot ritual, full body massage, a hydrating facial and a glass of sparkling wine. People interested in the “Please Be Mine” package will receive a special Caribbean coconut treatment, a hydrating mint facial, luxury pedicure and glass of champagne.

Although these packages are available for a limited time, Ali assured that local guests can enjoy a 10 per cent discount on regular treatments that the spa provides.

“For March, I will be giving more and more,” Ali said. “What I’m doing, I’m giving 10 per cent discount on a regular basis.”

With his goal set to having at least 20 local patrons by the end of February, the spa manager stressed that guests will have an enjoyable time at the spa, which is nestled into the heart of the tranquil five-star resort.

The spa is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week.
