More organizations join cause for relief efforts in SVG

The West St George Youth for Progress and Development has joined the list of individuals, organizations, groups, business entities and countries which have activated relief initiatives for those persons and communities affected by the weather system which impacted St Vincent and the Grenadines and other Caribbean countries on December 24, 2013.{{more}}

The group is inviting West St Georgians and all Vincentians to donate foodstuff (dry foods), clothing, shoes or any other appropriate item to the cause.

Items can be dropped off at the West St George Constituency Office at Arnos Vale, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. Distribution to affected areas will be done through the national distribution systems during the current period, up to January 31, 2014.

The group identifies with the pain, suffering and distress of persons affected and is happy to respond in this small way in offering support and relief to the affected.
