Police recover box with guns, ammo at Clare Valley

High powered guns continue to infiltrate the borders of St Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}

On December 29, during a joint operation by members of the Rapid Response Unit (RRU) and the Special Services Unit (SSU), a Tec-9 semi-automatic handgun and a 357 magnum revolver were found at Clare Valley.

Sources told SEARCHLIGHT that a box of ammunition was also found with the guns.

The discovery is said to have taken place about 12: 50 p.m. on Sunday.

Up to press time, no arrests had been made.

Sergeant Duane Bailey of the RRU and Corporal Nolan Dallaway of the SSU headed the operation.
