On December 5, the SVG Squash Association handed over just over 100 textbooks, novels and reference books to the school. Present at the handing over were teachers Degrads and Richards, who expressed sincere thanks on behalf of the school and declared that the books are a welcomed addition to the library. Sixteen students accompanied the teachers. President of the Squash Association Dr Sherian Slater, in her remarks, explained that the books were a fitting gift to a good neighbour and that the book drive will continue.

She encouraged the students to make good use of the books by reading as a means of personal development. She did not hesitate to invite the students to learn to play the sport of squash. Vice president Deirdre Myers and PRO assistant Janine Doyle also witnessed the handing over of the books.
