New ministries set to empower and motivate women in SVG
Women here in St Vincent and the Grenadines are set to benefit from a new Christian Ministry designed to empower and motivate them.{{more}}
The new entity, known as Fire and Glory Empowerment Ministries (FGRM) will function under the leadership of Minister Laverne Weekes of Triumph Covenant Ministries Kingstown and is being launched here from December 11 to15, 2013.
The launching event will take the form of a Spiritual Warfare and Prophetic Conference under the theme âYou Have Come to the Kingdom for Such a Time as this – Be Silent No More!â It will feature as guest speaker Ingrid Granger-Benton of St Croix.
Founder and director Laverne Weekes said that the aim of FGRM is to be used by God to bring restoration and redirection to abused, hurting, displaced and disillusioned women with the word of hope in the plans of a loving God for their lives. She encourages all women, and also men, to be a special part of this life -changing event.
The venue for these highly strategic meetings is the Robert Rapture Building, Kingstown (Opposite the Leeward Bus Terminal). Meetings will begin at 7 p.m. on the 11th through 13th and 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
