The case, brought against the committee by Vanloo, began in earnest yesterday, after two previous adjournments, with the former president giving testimony.

Also giving testimony yesterday on behalf of Vanloo was Union trustee Angus Hadaway. Vanloo is making the case that the September 10, 2013 move to relieve him from the organization’s helm was unconstitutional, and is attempting to be reinstated, along with his executive.

The Union is currently led by interim president Elroy Boucher.

Vanloo is being represented by the Caribbean International Law Firm, while the Union is represented by Joseph Delves.(JJ)
