Young performing artistes to compete for $75,000

Artistes interested in competing at the 10th Annual Youth Fest on December 22 are reminded that the closing date to register for auditions is November 8.{{more}}

Auditions will take place in St Vincent and the Greadines on November 16 at the Peace Memorial Hall, Kingstown and in St Lucia on November 16 at the Police Auditorium, Castries and November 23 at the Coastline, Vieux-Fort.

Artistes compete for $75,000 in three categories: Juniors (age 12 & under), Teens (age 13-19), Twenties (age 20-29); genres include: gospel, dance hall, reggae, soca, rap, hip hop, and R & B.

Vincentian singers, dancers and supporters will travel to St Lucia on December 22 to participate in the 10th Anniversary of Youth Fest. The MV Gem Star departs Kingstown at 7 a.m., returning at 11 p.m. The early bird return fare is EC$95.00.

Youth Fest 2013 will climax with a SOCA MONARCH PARTY, headlined by reigning Vincentian Soca Monarch Skinny Fabulous and reigning St Lucian Soca Monarch Ricky T.
