Tree House Bar ‘Toys for Tots 2’ campaign off and running

Dotcoms Backyard Restaurant and Bar “Tree House Bar” has launched its “Toys for Tots 2” toy drive campaign.{{more}}

This year, Tree House Bar is on an ambitious toy drive to collect and distribute over 3,000 toys to less fortunate children in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Christmas in St Vincent and the Grenadines is a time for giving and sharing, hence the management and staff of Tree House Bar is encouraging the public, for this year’s holiday season, to dig a bit deeper in their pockets and assist in bringing joy to the less fortunate children throughout the country.

Last year, Tree House Santa distributed over 1,000 toys in various communities and institutions in St Vincent.

“Toys for Tots1, was hailed a major success because of your generous support. This year, for Toys for Tots 2, we are hoping to distribute over 3,000 toys and extend our distribution to the islands of the Grenadines. So, help us sail Santa across the Grenadine seas by dropping toys or monetary donations at the Tree House Bar and Restaurant. Donations can also be picked up by Tree House staff, call 456-6808 and speak to any staff member or ask for Stan,” a release from the organizers said.

Patrons of Dotcoms Backyard Restaurant and Bar can make their monetary donations or drop off their toys at the bar.

“Tree House Bar is reminding you that while conducting your Christmas shopping, purchase an extra toy or two and drop it at the bar or we will pick it up, you will be surprised at the joy such a simple gesture brings to a child during the Christmas season,” the release said.
