Digicel customer walks away with second gen iPad, $2,000
Mera James texted CASH to the Digicel number 7171 and as a result she is now the proud owner of an Ipad 2, while for her efforts she also received EC$2,000 cash.{{more}}
James, who hails from Bequia, is the winner of Septemberâs âText to Winâ promotion, where persons were asked to text CASH, to 7171 and play the animal quiz game.
James managed to rank number one at the end of September and as a result was rewarded. She collected her winnings this week from Digicelâs Bequia representative Colson Peters.
She said that she was extremely happy as all her texting had paid off.
Marketing executive at Digicel Justin John said that Octoberâs Text to Win promotion is asking customers to text MUSIC to 7171 and play the music jeopardy game.
The lucky winner will get a trip for two to Dominica for the World Creole Music Festival which will this year see performances from Machel Montano, Busy Signal, Kassav, Nu Look and Bracket among others.
The World Creole Music Festival runs from October 25 to 27.
