GHS student is August winner of Secondary School Bible Quiz

The Girls’ High school continues to perform outstandingly in the Secondary School Bible Quiz (SSBQ).{{more}}

Francisca Ryan, a fourth form student at the school, is the August winner of the SSBQ. In the previous term, the school won the quiz for three consecutive months.

For her prize, Ryan received a bible, gift certificates from Acute Cosmetics, and $200. Form teacher Jenel Lewis-Mc Lean accepted the prize on her behalf.

Meanwhile, all students who have participated in the SSBQ five times or more and wrote the 2013 CSEC exams are invited to submit entries for the Distinguished Graduate Award 2013.

The award goes to the student who had the best CSEC results and will be presented at the SSBQ annual awards ceremony in December.
