Three more lucky customers rewarded in Digicel’s Treasure Hunt – Spell and Win promotion

Lavern Baptiste, Christine Roache and Norma Greaves are the latest persons to be rewarded in Digicel’s “Treasure Hunt – Spell and Win Summer” promotion.{{more}}

The excited trio were given the chance to dip in Digicel’s “Treasure Hunt – Spell and Win Summer” promotion treasure chest last Friday, August 23.

The draw, which took place at Digicel’s flagship store, The Cell on Halifax Street, saw Baptiste winning an EC$200 Coreas Hazells voucher, Roache taking home a Blackberry Bold 9900 and Greaves winning a Digital camera.

Baptiste said that she was glad for the voucher, while Roache said that the phone had come at a right time, as her phone had just stopped working and she was planning to buy a new one. Greaves said that while it was not her first camera, she was still grateful for the prize.

For those unfamiliar with “Treasure Hunt – Spell and Win Summer”, the promotion seeks to reward both Prepaid and Postpaid customers who have to gather letters to spell the word “TREASURE”.

These letters are sent to customers’ phones when they top up or pay their bills in full and on time.

Prepaid customers that top up between EC$10 and EC$14.99 will receive one letter via text message approximately 60 minutes after top up, while prepaid customers that top up $15 or more will receive two letters.

Each customer that spells the word TREASURE wins a chance to dip into Digicel’s treasure chest which contains huge prizes, including smart phones, televisions, Coreas Hazells gift vouchers, laptops and cash, among other things.

Postpaid customers who pay their bill in full and on time will be given letters (via text message). The payment of the bill must be within the promotional period which is Friday, July 19 to Saturday, August 31. In order to receive one entry, a payment of $60 to $99 must be made. To receive two entries a payment of $100 or more must be made.

Once a customer gathers all the letters that spell the word TREASURE, they will be informed via text message and asked to come in to a Digicel location and dip from the wooden treasure chest that will contain EC$100,000 in cash and prizes.

Another three persons will be rewarded today Friday, August 31, as Digicel’s “Treasure Hunt – Spell and Win Summer” promotion comes to an end.
