Karen Hinds’ Phenomenal Woman Conference Ready for 2014

After a successful, sold-out first conference in April 2013, with women attending from Dominica, Barbados, the USA and England, planning has already started for the 2014 Karen Hinds’ Phenomenal Woman Conference.{{more}}

The conference will be held on April 11 to 12, 2014, at the Kingstown Methodist Church Hall. The theme for 2014 is “Seeing New Possibilities.”

Because of the overwhelming response in the first year, a dynamic second day has been added, specifically to address the needs of 12 to 17-year-olds on Friday, April 11, 2014, where the message will be customized for the young women.

The Saturday session will be for adult women only, 18 years and older.

“This conference will give young and adult women the chance to explore new opportunities for themselves that they may not have even considered before. We are building a programme that will be more interactive and address the specific topics women from our first conference requested,” said organizer Karen Hinds. Conference speakers and topics will be announced in the coming months.

Sponsor opportunities are currently available for organizations who want to be strategic in their approach to raising brand awareness with young and adult women.

Partial proceeds from the 2014 conference will benefit Bishop’s College Kingstown, as they celebrate their 50th year in 2014. Hinds is a past student.
