SISVG celebrates its 26th anniversary

Soroptimist International of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SISVG) celebrated its 26th anniversary on July 14, with a church service at St George’s Cathedral, followed by a brunch.{{more}}

As part of the celebration and in recognition of SIGBI’s Day of Action 2013, SISVG donated toiletries to the Margurite Shanagher Night Shelter for the Homeless located at Rose Place. This was done through the Ladies of Charity Organization.

SISVG is a vibrant, dynamic organisation for today’s professional and business women.

“We are committed to a world where women and girls together achieve their individual and collective potential, realise aspirations and have an equal voice in creating strong and peaceful communities worldwide.

“One of our goals is to improve lives, particularly women and girls’ through education, empowerment and enabling opportunities,” a release from the organization said.
