Women’s group to honour men

In Recognition of Father’s Day, 2013, the Progressive Women’s Organisation will host a panel discussion and awards ceremony for men who have made outstanding contributions to our society in various fields.{{more}}

Ten men have been nominated to be honoured in the areas of baking, barbering, bartending, farming, fishing, office attendant, police officer, postal service, taxi service and sanitation worker.

The ceremony will be held at Government House under the patronage of Governor General, Sir Frederick Ballantyne, on Sunday, June 16, at 3:30 p.m.
