Fanfare Events celebrates three years – ‘Making Occasions Special’

If you attended the local Diamond Jubilee celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II, the re-launch of St Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority, Jazz on the Green or Slippery When Wet, you were at a Fanfare event.{{more}}

This year, Fanfare Events celebrates its third anniversary, and CEO Alexis John says plans are to raise the bar for events equipment rental in St Vincent and the Grenadines even further.

“Our goal is to expand in other areas. I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag… but pretty soon, by mid February, if all goes well, a number of new products will be in St Vincent and the Grenadines for the first time.

“What we are doing is bringing international standards to St Vincent and the Grenadines, when it comes to event equipment rental and service.”

John started the events renting service in 2009, when he realized that there was a need for the service here, after trying to secure some equipment for himself.

“One day I was looking for chairs to rent for an event; it was a difficult experience in terms of getting chairs, and right there and then, the idea came to me and I started to look into it,” John recalled.

“I did intense research into the events renting industry, and St Vincent was lacking a genuine events renting company, and that’s how Fanfare became a reality.”

John said that he started off with three tents, which has over the years expanded to multiple tents of different sizes and styles, as well as a wide variety of tables and chairs, tent liners, flooring, chandeliers, wedding columns and arches, aisle runners, podiums and linen.

A firm believer in quality and service, John says that the success of his business stems from the large number of satisfied clients that Fanfare Events has served over the years.

He noted that Fanfare Events has served hundreds of wedding, sporting and corporate events and private functions, and on many occasions, most of their clients are repeat customers.

“Our tag line is ‘Making Occasions Special’.

“Our main focus is to ensure that every event that we do is enhanced by our rental equipment. We want to make every event special and unique.

“When you think of Fanfare, it’s like a grand affair, like something spectacular, it’s about making the event big, something festive, something spectacular.”

While he says that his products and services may be the best, John insisted that the prices are affordable and very competitive, and would only get better.

John said that the success that his company has realized could not have happened without God, who gave him the vision and encouragement to pursue his dream.

“I also want to thank my financiers, my clients, … as well as the staff (Bilko, Burke, Copper, Scottie, Bling Dog, Dillon), they have been doing a tremendous job.

“Without them all, it would not have been possible.”

John indicated that as part of anniversary celebrations, discounts and special offers will be made to clients, throughout the year.
