Teachers win big with furniture and appliance giant Courts SVG Ltd

Years after completing her studies in Jamaica, educator Karen Burnett says she is ready to return, thanks to Furniture and Appliance Giant Courts St Vincent Limited.{{more}}

Burnett, a schoolteacher from Argyle, is one of two persons to win all expenses paid trips to the Land of Wood and Water in Courts’ Whirlpool Campaign.

Burnett first visited Jamaica as a student, where she gained a diploma in Business Administration, and has since moved on to a BA in Management, and is looking forward to her return.

“I feel excited. My husband and I studied in Jamaica, so it would be good to return for a vacation,” Burnett said.

The owner of a Courts side-by-side washer and dryer, Burnett is no stranger to winning with Courts.

Just three weeks ago, Burnett paid her Courts bill and was the winner of $500 cash back.

“I was shocked when the person called me, knowing that I won three weeks ago, and there hearing again that Courts calling me to tell me I won again.”

And that’s not all.

As long as Burnett continues to keep her account up to date, she is eligible to win again.

Top Belair resident Selwyn Jack was the other winner of the trip for two to Jamaica.

Also claiming a big prize this week was pre-school teacher Jillian Wales, who won $8,000 in the Courts Create the Magic Campaign.

The long-time customer of Courts purchased an outside chair set, and became a lucky winner in the process.

With no immediate plans for her unexpected funds, Wales said that she would continue shopping at Courts, since the company gives back to its customers.

“I am happy for this and would advise people to come and shop at Courts, where they could get something back.”
