Hadaway, who is currently overseas, continuing his law studies, was cited for services to the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, and to law and order.

The former officer-in-charge of the Special Services Unit has trained and worked in Grenada and Haiti, as well as Barbados.

Over the years, he has received training in a number of crime fighting tactics, including anti-terrorism, civil military operations, anti-rioting and internal security.

Married, with two children, he joins five other outstanding Vincentians who have made their way onto the 2013 Queen’s New Year’s honours list.
