VINLEC choir lights up communities

Over the past nine consecutive years, the VINLEC Choir has been spreading the love, joy and peace of the Christmas season in rural communities throughout St Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}

This is keeping with the company’s social outreach programme, aimed at enriching the lives of citizens of this country. This year, the choir hosted three community concerts.

The first was held in New Grounds on December 2, while two others were held in South Rivers and Spring Village on December 8 and 9, respectively.

The VINLEC Choir and band performed a range of traditional carols and Christmas songs, while community members rendered songs, performed poems and choral speeches. The highlights of the concerts were the performances by the children and the sharing of gifts by choir members.
