Inspector Calvin Glasgow of the Traffic Branch orders passengers in a minivan to exchange seats because the front seat passenger was not wearing his seatbelt in Lowmans leeward Monday.{{more}}

The embarrassment that several persons, including those in trucks suffered as a result of Glasgow orders, pales in comparison to the maximum $2,000 fine a court can impose for first-time offenders. Persons convicted of subsequent seatbelt violations can be charged up to $5,000, the Traffic Branch told SEARCHLIGHT. (KXC)
