DOT COMS restaurant to host toy drive
DOT COMS RESTAURANT and BAR in Arnos Vale says it wants to âbring Christmas to children throughout St Vincent and the Grenadinesâ.{{more}}
The establishment intends to host a toy drive under the name âTOYS for TOTSâ, where they can accomplish their goal of giving thousands of toys to less fortunate children in St Vincent.
They are requesting the help of the public in donating purchased or used toys that are in excellent condition that can be used as gifts.
Monetary donations will also be accepted and will be used to purchase toys from local merchants at a reduced rate.
Cameron âDotcomâ Primus, a part owner of the establishment, plans to be outfitted in a Santa Claus suit with toys on a flatbed truck that will pass through the various communities of St Vincent, sharing toys to random children.
DOT COMS RESTAURANT and BAR hopes to make the toy drive an annual event, the company said in a press release.
All contributions and donations to the cause can be dropped off at DOT COMS RESTAURANT and TREE BAR. Donors can call 456 6808, 431 8114, or 433 5074 to have the items picked up.
