Green Hill resident cops Courts’ ‘Celebrate’ promotional campaign prize

The lucky cook from Green Hill is the winner of Courts’ “Celebrate” promotional campaign, which saw Gordon being entered in a draw and winning the EC$8,000 prize money.

After collecting her money on Tuesday at Courts’ Bay Street branch, Gordon said that when Marketing Officer at Courts Alexis John called her and told her that she had won, she thought it was a hoax.

“I called him back, because I usually hear him on the radio and he said that it was no hoax and that I should come and collect my money today,” said Gordon.

The happy mother, who brought her daughter Amia to the handing over, said that she is not only happy about winning, but she is also “amazed”. She added that she is going to continue shopping at Courts, as she has been doing over the years, “this is the only place I shop.”

Marketing Officer John said that Gordon was entered in the “Celebrate” draw when she purchased a Mabe stove.

He said that the “Celebrate” promotional campaign ran from September 28 to October 31 and the draw was done on November 1.

“Customers who purchased Mabe appliances got the opportunity to win EC$8,000, as this was a partnership between Mabe and Courts,” said John, who stressed that Mabe brands are known for their performance and technology in cooking and refrigeration.

“This brand is exclusive to Courts and Mabe has a wide range of products, stoves and fridges,” said John, who also used the opportunity to congratulate Gordon.
