Arnos Vale Methodist Church to mark 50 years with service on Sunday

The Arnos Vale Methodist Church will hold a church service this Sunday in commemoration of the church’s 50th anniversary.{{more}}

The fiftieth anniversary celebrations are being held under the theme “Holy Spirit transform your church through your Power”.

The focus throughout the year has been on Prayer, Outreach, Worship, Education and Relationship, forming the acronym for POWER.

“As we reflect on 50 years of outreach and witness in the Arnos Vale community and beyond, we give thanks to God for those who laid the foundation, most of whom have passed on to higher service,” a release from the church said.

This Sunday’s service will be held at the Arnos Vale Methodist Church on September 30, the church’s anniversary date.

The Superintendent Minister of the Kingstown Chateaubelair Circuit, Rev Adrian S. Odle, S.T.M, B.A, will be the featured speaker at the service. During this service, members will be recognised for years of outstanding service. An invitation is extended to all.
