LIME Mega Moments promotion gives away $45,000

After six weeks of LIME Mega Moments promotions, 30 LIME customers have each won $1,500, totalling a whopping $45,000 in cash.{{more}}

The promotion, which got started in August, was hailed by many customers as “one for the hard times”, since most winners were quoted as saying that the money will be used to purchase back to school supplies and paying off outstanding bills.

LIME customers were given a chance to win this prize daily when they did the following:

Traded in a handset from the competitor; purchased a Blackberry Jazz handset; signed up for fixed line; signed up for broadband; purchased a handset; talked for 3 minutes, getting the next 57 minutes free.

The statistics revealed that 16 out of the 30 winners traded handsets; 10 winners talked for 3 minutes. Twenty-four women won prizes, while six men got lucky. The age group of the winners ranged between 19 and 45 years.

“These stats are quite revealing,” said Nikala Williams, marketing lead. It is quite clear when you look at them that people are moving to our network because they recognize that LIME is more affordable and reliable. We welcome the many customers of all age groups who have moved over and thank all customers who took part in the promotions,” Williams continued.
