CDC to host prize-giving ceremony for Vincy Mas 2012 next Wednesday

The prize-giving ceremony for Vincy Mas 2012, hosted by the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC), will now take place next Wednesday.{{more}}

The ceremony was originally scheduled for tomorrow at the Cruise Ship Terminal, but had to be postponed due to a delay in the arrival of the trophies to be distributed to the various winners in this year’s Carnival celebrations. The trophies are now expected to arrive here early next week, a release from the CDC said.

This decision was taken with the approval of the Carnival components.

The prize giving ceremony will take place on Wednesday at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown, commencing at 5 p.m.

The release from the CDC said they apologize to all stakeholders and to the general public for the postponement from Saturday of the 2012 prize-giving ceremony and appreciates the cooperation of all concerned.
