School recognizes top common entrance performers at graduation

When the Bequia Anglican Primary School held its Graduation ceremony on July 3, the highlight was the school’s performance in the 2012 Common Entrance Examination.{{more}}

Seventeen of 33 students passed. Three students placed in the first 100.

Giovonni Lewis placed fifth for boys and twelfth overall. Chiarra Peniston placed eighth for girls and tied with Giovonni Lewis at twelfth overall.

The other student in the top three is Melodie Hercules, who placed 39th for girls and 72nd overall.

Eight students passed within the first 500 grouping. They are Giovonni Lewis, Chiarra Peniston, Melodie Hercules, Faizon Simmons, Jomara Adams, Darron Duncan, Vernisca Friday and Rodiva Ragguett.

Giovonni Lewis has since received a Vincy Cares Scholarship.
