The forum will be held at the Questelles Learning Resources Centre on Saturday, June 30th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., under the theme “what you need to know – a focus on teen health as it relates to STI’s and General Health”.

The forum will seek to remind youths of the dangers of risky sexual behaviour at this Carnival time and generally.

Health Counsellor at the Clare Valley Health Clinic Rose-Clair Charles and Health Education Teacher Abner Richards will be the main speakers at the event.

The target group is young people, aged 14 and older and parents are asked to send their children to gain needed knowledge on the dangers posed to them with the existence of STI’s, their many types and forms and their disguise. After the formal presentations, there will be a question and answer segment.

Snacks will be served and cultural presentations are expected to be made by many different clubs and groups. Prizes will also be given.
