Digicel donates shirts and bandannas to Park Hill Church
Digicel has come to the aid of the Park Hill Church of God Youth Fellowship program.
Last Monday, Marketing Manager at Digicel Juno DeRoche handed over 30 shirts and 30 bandannas to Secretary of the Youth Fellowship Sister Inga Dover.{{more}}
The shirts and bandannas will be used at the groupâs Summer retreat, which will be held from July 6 to 10 at the Oasis Resort at Argyle.
Speaking at Digicelâs Corporate Offices, located in the Lewis Building on James Street, Sister Dover said that the group has been gladdened by Digicelâs generosity.
âThis means a great deal to us; we wrote many organizations and Digicel is the only one that responded to usâ, said Dover.
She added that during the retreat, the participants will hear from various speakers who will speak on a number of topics. The retreat is targeting youngsters from 10-year-old upwards.
Dover said that the date for the retreat was chosen in an effort to steer the participants away from what the church considers to be secular activities.
