Karib Cable has announced its sponsorship of Darian Lavia to compete in the Owia Sports and Cultural Organization’s rural carnival event called “Miss Owia Princess” to be held on May 25 at the Owia Big River.

“The Owia Sport and Cultural Organization is thankful for the monetary support donated by Karib Cable for our rural carnival activities,” said Sheena Price of OSCO. “We are a new organization that has recently taken up the task of organizing rural carnival activities for the village of Owia. Not only will there be the Miss Owia Princess competition, but patrons can attend a number of other events including our Jouvert celebration, T-shirt street party, our foam fete and river lime. We are asking everyone from the surrounding areas to come out and give your support to these activities.”

“Carnival is a time for celebration and enjoyment for all Vincentians. With Karib Cable being a proud Vincentian company, we are thrilled to provide support and to endorse the rural carnival activities put on by the Owia Sports and Cultural Organization,” said Vance Garraway, Marketing Executive of Karib Cable. We at Karib Cable are wishing all of the OSCO contestants and participants the best of luck in this year’s rural carnival activities.”
