Rains flood villages north of Rabacca

While Kingstown and surrounding areas were dry for most of yesterday, villages north of the Rabacca river experienced heavy rainfall, causing flooding in many areas.{{more}}

One resident of the area said rains came for most of yesterday morning, making it difficult for children to make it to school. Rivers were said to have “come down” in Owia, Sandy Bay and London, and Owia was said to be without water, because of damage to water pipes.

Up to press time on Monday evening, the area was said to be still overcast.
