True Taste of the Caribbean on the Square

Last Friday, March 2, 2012, persons witnessed the official launch party of the partnership between Presidente Beer and Telecommunications provider LIME. From about 5:00.p.m,{{more}} Heritage Square became the epicenter of activity as the St.Vincent Brewery Ltd and LIME introduced the “true taste of the Caribbean, Presidente Beer” in an evening of unforgettable entertainment.

Patrons saw a live performance by the LIME Soca Dans as they enjoyed the Presidente experience of “buy-one-get-one free.” Also, for the first time ever in St.Vincent, persons were granted the opportunity to celebrate the launch with the vivacious Presidente girls from the Dominican Republic.

To solidify its presence, every time patrons drank a Presidente Beer, they got a chance to “spin and win” key rings, bottle openers, t-shirts and polos, cap, and lots more.

“Presidente Beer is the latest addition to our portfolio at the Brewery” said Kasai Simmons, Presidente Brand Developer, St.Vincent Brewery Ltd.

Presidente beer is a drink with social distinction, and a brand of beer that has gained high esteem among beer drinkers. More than just a beer product, Presidente has become linked to many events both leisure and cultural, and has managed to carve out a role for itself as the beer that defines night life.

Among the most distinctive cultural symbols in the Dominican Republic, the Presidente Brand of beer has become a symbol of national pride. Like Hairoun to St.Vincent, Presidente Beer has transcended from a simple alcoholic beverage to a way of identification.

Friday’s event marked the first of many upcoming partnerships between Presidente and LIME. Presidente Pilsner Beer is a world renowned beer and it is brewed and bottled under license by the St.Vincent Brewery Ltd, Campden Park.
