Courts donates washing machine to MCMH

Similar to the manner in which medical experts respond to medical emergencies, so did Furniture and Appliance experts Courts St Vincent Limited respond to an urgent call, from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, this country’s main health care facility.{{more}}

On Tuesday, February 7, the leader in brand name furniture and appliances handed over a a domestic Whirlpool washing machine to officials of the hospital.

The machine, with a retail cost of $2,799, is expected to be utilised in the operating theatre of the hospital, according to Acting Hospital Administrator Donna Bascombe.

Bascombe joined with medical Director Simone Keizer Beache in thanking Courts for the gesture, which they hoped would continue as time goes by.

“We are very gracious to Courts for responding generously to our urgent call”, Beache added.

“We hope that this relationship would continue… as Courts has been our partner over the months in times of urgent need.”

Marketing Officer of Courts Alexis John, who handed over the washer to the officials, indicated that Courts will be offering any assistance possible, since his company was very serious about enhancing health care in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

“We are happy once again to be reaching out to the hospital… which again demonstrates that we are very caring and are proud to enhance health care in St Vincent and the Grenadines, which is a major focus in our sponsorship guideline.”

John pointed out that in the past six months, his company has donated items to the institution, which included a computer and a refrigerator.
