Lions holds zone meeting

Lions and Leo Clubs from Grenada and St. Vincent and Union Island held their First Zone Meeting for the Lionistic Year 2011-2012 in St. Vincent on Saturday, October 1, 2011.{{more}}

The meeting, which is a quarterly affair, was hosted by the Lions Club of Kingstown and Leo Club of St. Vincent and chaired by Zone Chairman Lion Alson Jack.

The Lions and Leos primarily reviewed the work which they have been doing in their respective communities over the past three months. Each of the eight clubs in the Zone presented reports which were well received by the meeting. It was generally felt from the reports that the Lions Clubs are making great strides in assisting the less fortunate persons in the Zone, given the variety of community activities and projects with which they are currently engaged.
