Medical Association to host College and Career Exhibition

The SVG Medical Association will host the 7th Annual College and Career Exhibition which takes place at the Methodist Church Hall on October 12 and 13, 2011, beginning at 9:00am.{{more}}

This event is held in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and is open to the general public.

Also, as the month of October is internationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the SVG Medical Association will present a new feature to this 11th year of our BREAST CANCER AWARENESS campaign by hosting a PINK Sale DAY on Friday, October 7th, from 9:30 – 3:30pm, where there will be a fundraising event under the SINGER gallery. “THINGS PINK’ will be sold by the SVGMA and Friends in an extended effort to raise funds to assist persons afflicted by Breast Cancer. This will include the sale of Pink Cup Cakes, (and other Cakes), Pink soaps, Pink (SVGMA) T-shirts, Pink Caps, Pink Ribbon Lapel Pins, ‘Pink Ribbon’ labeled bottled water, and other ‘THINGS PINK’.

As well, the 5th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness PINK CAP CITY WALK will take place on Friday, October 14th, from 3:30 pm, beginning at Heritage Square. On this occasion, persons are requested to wear the Special SVG-MA Pink T-Shirts and Pink Caps. Members of the public are invited to participate in this event and SHOW YOUR AWARENESS of Breast Cancer.
