Librarian Tamara Job-Moses accepted the books and thanked SISVG for their continued support.

The volumes donated cover a wide range of Business and Financial Management topics, as well as a selection of English Literature books.

A release from SISVG says “International Literacy Day is very important to Soroptimists, because one of our objectives is to ensure equal access to education and training throughout the lives of women and girls globally.

“This international day aims to mobilize everyone’s attention to the urgent need for increased commitment to literacy, especially for girls and women.

There is a saying that when you educate a man you educate an individual; when you educate a woman you educate a whole family.”
