PRO of JCI Joel Garrett said that the leadership training oriented group is also celebrating its 52nd anniversary this month and a number of leadership seminars and social activities have been planned, but they will also continue to look out for the less fortunate.
He said that with the JCI watchword being âService with Honour – Not for Honour,â the members continue to be part of the International flagship programme called âNothing but Net,â where they have teamed up with other JCI members around the world to help prevent the spread of malaria in Africa.
Garrett stated that the JCI St. Vincent is pleased to make an impact, not only locally, but also internationally, and he urged persons in their 20âs to 30âs to become members.
With the West Indian Convention to be held in Tobago 10-16 October, Garrett pointed out that persons can find out more about JCI events on their Facebook page – JCI St Vincent or email: jcistvincent @gmail.com.
