Teachers lauded by education minister

Heads and teachers of schools throughout the state were lauded by Girlyn Miguel, Minister of Education, on Monday, June 20, for their role in educating students.{{more}}

“You are the critical agents in this educational enterprise. Your dedication and drive are the elements which ensure that the youth are given a fair chance at success,” said Miguel.

She also expressed gratitude to the corporate entities, service clubs, religious leaders, and the ministries who provide support to the schools and students and contribute to the development of other youth.

Miguel, who also serves as this country’s Deputy Prime Minister, equally acknowledged the support granted to students by their parents, guardians and relatives.

Miguel encouraged students who did not meet the required standard for the Common Entrance Examinations to use the disappointment to motivate them in all that they do.
