Soca Relief Charity holds Fun Day for children

Soca Relief Charity Event kicked off with a fun day for the kids, held on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Georgetown Chilli playing field.{{more}}

The event saw approximately 200 children attending. It was quite evident that these children had a blast, given free access to two bouncing castles, an outdoor play area and refreshments.

Special prizes were given to the students had written and passed the Common Entrance Examination. Gifts were also given to the other children that attended this event.

This event would not have been possible without the sponsors namely: Kids Can Play, Digicel, Country Grocery, St. Vincent Brewery, Premiere Distributors, Coreas Hazels Inc, Allan Smith and family Bakery, Leroy Lewis, Christopher and Dona Williams, Sabrina Arrington,

There was also a scheduled concert for later that evening, but due to the weather conditions the Soca Relief Charity Concert had to be postponed until this Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Georgetown Chili Playing Field.
