Bacchanal City comes to SVG, courtesy Hitz 103.7!

As St.Vincent and the Grenadines braces itself for the 2011 Carnival season, Hitz 103.7 is once again getting ready to deliver a unique and exciting night of entertainment,{{more}} as it presents its annual event, Soca Swing at Victoria Park on Sunday, May 29.

Closely linked to its Carnival radio theme, ‘Bacchanal’, Hitz 103.7 Soca Swing is being dubbed ‘The Bacchanal fete! How yuh like it?’

Candice Sealey, Head of Sales and Marketing, says that on May 29, Victoria Park will not exist, in that, the venue will be transformed into a Bacchanal City. Sealey added that the station thrives on creating various themes each year so as to offer the Vincentian public a truly different experience annually.

When asked as to how this concept was developed and what persons should expect, Sealey commented that this experience on May 29 is part of the station’s Carnival experience called ‘Bacchanalia’; the first step of the experience being the first radio station to go ‘100% soca’ on Friday, April 29.

With the bacchanal theme comes the ‘Jab Jab’ experience which includes drums, conch shells and chants. While this is not traditionally Vincentian, it is an element which is expected to fit well into the bacchanal atmosphere and it can be expected on the night of the event, stated a news release from Hitz 103.7.

Furthermore, as festive and energetic as the show will be, Hitz 103.7 poses the question as to how revelers like their Bacchanal; whether it be with drinks, music or otherwise. With this in mind persons can bring their bacchanal practices/preferences to life at ‘Bacchanal City’- Victoria Park on May 29.

Patrons can also look out for the ‘Bacchanal Marshalls’, ‘Bacchanal Babes’, jab jab posse, bacchanal crews along with various surprises and giveaways among other things.
