Courts Cook-Off Champ gives stove thumbs up

The second in a series of product demonstrations put on by Courts took place on Thursday, April 28, with one of this country’s leading chefs putting to use one of the company’s top brand stoves.{{more}}

The showroom floor of the Kingstown location became a kitchen for a day, when Orande ‘Acka’ Johnson had a field day showing off the Indurama stove, which he says does more than the regular stove.

“This stove is more that usual. For one, it allows you to use gas or electricity, eliminating the need for matches in the home.

“It also comes equipped with a rotisserie system, so that you can put your whole chicken or turkey to bake, where it will cook evenly and faster than the usual,” Johnson explained.

He added: “It also has a grilling system, where you can Bar-B-Que right then and there on the stove top.”

“It is a really good stove, and we are putting it to the test so that customers of Courts can see it in action,” Johnson opined.

Johnson created two easy recipes in a matter of hours, using all aspects of the appliance, baking two small whole chickens rotisserie style, with the oils and marinates dripping into a dish filled with vegetables and baking at the same time.

He also used the stove top griddle to grill pieces of fish, and also prepared mashed potato and steamed vegetables at the same time.

The two time winner of the Courts Cook Off competition gave the stove the highest ratings that he can give a commercial stove of its size.

“I highly recommend this stove for anybody who is into cooking to come down to Courts and get one of these.

I pick this stove as a starter stove and a good stove that any member of the family would be able to use,” said Johnson.

If that wasn’t enough, two customers of Courts who are already owners of the Indurama stove endorsed the product, using the adjective ‘Wicked’ to describe its performance in the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Marketing Executive of Courts Alexis John said: “It’s ever important that our customers know what our products or appliances can do for them before they get to their homes. These events are geared towards helping our customers in their decision making in terms of choosing the right appliance.”

John continued: “The Indurama brand is well known across the globe for its technology and performance. We are delighted to have such an amazing product with so many great functions at our stores. It is a must have appliance for any Kitchen.”
