Upstage Xperience to launch cast in South Rivers

The Upstage Xperience launches the 2011 cast in South Rivers, the hometown of “Shotta”, one of its biggest stars.{{more}}

The Xperience is scheduled to open on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at the South Rivers Primary School. Appearing for the first time in the Upstage Xperience will be Gallanaire, Kahalia Beache, Shannelle Nanton, Lord Have Mercy, Troots and Li’l Bit.

Returning to the fold are Armstrong and Lawyer Boy with his controversial hit song PC Jumping. The rest of the cast include stars Skarpyon, Shaunelle McKenzie, Bomani, Shotta, Landlord, Tameisha, GC, Ron B, Brother Ebony, Lady D, GAO, Pat Ralph, Defoe, Observer and King of the Road Maddzart. Some of the artistes have already released their fare for 2011.

Tent Leader of the Xperience, Bentley Browne, predicts an enthralling show, with lively music and spectacular performances from the A List cast. Browne further stated that the Xperience will offer a good mix of kaiso, soca and ragga soca. The backing band for the Xperience is Axcess.

All of the Upstage Xperience shows for 2011 will feature an after party with a popular DJ. The Xperience is expected to head to Barrouallie on May 6th, 2011, and return to the Aquatic Club on May 14th and June 3rd, 2011. The MC is former Courts King of Comedy – Candy Man.
