Ezee Radio savours ‘Mothers Moments’

Very soon, flower shops will overflow with orders and card store shelves will be filled as sons and daughters once again get ready to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8.{{more}} With this in mind, Ezee Radio urges sons & daughters to reminisce on those special Mothers moments through its Mother,s Day promotion called ‘Mothers Moments’.

The promotion takes into account the meteoric rise of the social network site ‘Facebook’ and will, therefore, be carried out exclusively on the EZee Radio fan page on Facebook. Candice Sealey, Head of Sales and Marketing at SVG Broadcasting Corporation, says that the idea behind the promotion was developed after consideration of how children say/do the strangest things at times and upon reflection, as parents, one may smile about it. EZee Radio is, therefore, asking persons to submit stories telling how they may have embarrassed their mom at any time. Stories will be welcomed from kids, teenagers or even grown ups as they reminisce on embarrassing scenarios that they and/or siblings may have caused.

Persons will post their stories on the Ezee Radio fan page (www.facebook.com/ezeerelax); the public can then go onto the page, view the stories and vote for their favourite story by clicking ‘Like’. The story with the most votes i.e. the most ‘Likes’, will win: a pampering session from Barnet’s Hair Fashion; perfume from The Trend- the Levi Store; a bouquet of flowers from Floranium Services; Mothers Day Sunday Brunch as well Wines. A consolation prize of a Gift basket from Coreas City Store and wines will also be given to the story that receives the 2nd most votes. Persons will also need to post a photo of themselves and their moms and email their contact details to ezeeradio@hotmail.com

Sealey added that for the past three years, Ezee radio has presented for the 1st time to the Vincentian public, SVG’s most Amazing Mom where persons were asked to submit via email a letter in no more than 500 words as to why their mom is so amazing. Whilst it has been incredibly successful with the number of entries increasing yearly, Ezee Radio always strives to be creative and to offer a unique experience, hence a different promotion was developed for 2011.
