Man arrested and charged with having sex with 6-year-old girl

A Simon resident is now back on the streets after he was arrested and charged with having sex with a six-year-old student.{{more}}

Samuel Browne, 22, was released on his own recognizance after he appeared at the Family Court on Thursday, April 7, charged with unlawful sexual intercourse.

Police say that the incident is reported to have taken place on March 28, 2011.

As part of his bail conditions, Browne was ordered to report to the Biabou Police Station everyday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The matter is set for hearing on June 30, 2011.
