Log Enterprises, Angostura get ‘Bold’

On February 24-25, 2011, Angostura Limited, in partnership with Log Enterprises, launched its “bold” new line of packaging. The “Bold Event” at the Paradise Beach Hotel.{{more}}

Log Enterprises has been the sole distributor of the Angostura range of products in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the last six years, including the world renowned Angostura® aromatic bitters.

Brands such as the popular White Oak, Fernandes Black Label and Royal Oak have all been completely re-branded with new packaging – new caps, new labels, and a “sleek sexy new bottle design that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.”

According to Market Development Officer Vitra Deonarine, “The new packaging from top to bottom is elegant, sophisticated and classy.” She indicated that the new packaging was well received back in her homeland, Trinidad and Tobago. “It appeals to the trendy young adult drinkers while simultaneously rewarding the mature consumer; it enhances the image of their selection of rums confirming their belief in the quality and worth of Angostura Rums.”

Deonarine also paid tribute to the management and staff at Log Enterprises, whose dedication and hard work she credited for the success of White Oak in the Vincentian Market.

Lynton Greaves, Manager and Owner of Log Enterprises, thanked his wife for her unwavering support throughout the years. He also thanked his staff for their continued dedication. Greaves admitted that his favourite drink is White Oak and LLB (Angostura® Lemon, Lime & Bitters) which he has named “Big Lime”.

Guest Speaker Sir Vincent Beache, made it known that he has been a loyal White Oak drinker since “Big Lime” was first introduced to him by Greaves.

Guests were also introduced to Angostura® Single Barrel Reserve Rum, the latest and newest offering from the House of Angostura.

Angostura Mixologist Raymond Edwards was also on hand to serve guests cocktails made using White Oak.

On Friday, St. Vincent was treated to a White Oak Caravan. Stops were made at various popular local bars where excited patrons were able to meet White Oak Brand Ambassador Keisha-Marie Charles, who autographed posters for the lucky patrons. White Oak gifts were also given away to the enthused audience.
